I've tried using contacts in the past, but wanted to yank them out after about an hour because they were so dry. It was always hard to wear ski goggles with glasses so I decided to try the Acuvue Moist instead of getting (expensive) prescription goggles. I'm very happy with this solution! My only struggle is that I can't read up close when I have them on, so I have to carry reading glasses.

This lens is good for wearers who often experience dryness with a daily-wear lens. Unlike other lenses, this one doen't stick to my eye and feels moist- as the name of the lens states. This is an above-average lens. The only negative I noticed using it was that from time to time, I would have one lens tear, and then I would have to throw it away and use another one.
i don't wear contacts every day, but when i do, they fog up and become useless after a few days, so it made more financial sense to just get a single-wear lens. so far i'm very happy with the switch. these lens are thinner & SLIGHTLY more difficult to handle, but not to where its a downside.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Daily contacts are a great way to help people who want to make the transition of wearing glasses to wearing contacts. They are also perfect to use for sports, travel, and special occasions when you don’t want to wear your glasses. 1 Day Acuvue Moist Contact Lenses are an ideal choice for people who are looking for a daily disposable contact lens that is both comfortable and affordable. Acuvue Moist is the only daily disposable lens offers LACREON technology, which permanently embeds a water-holding ingredient that helps keep the eye feeling fresh all day. It also has the added benefit of no lens care (like cleaning or storage) and even offers the same UV Blocking protection that other Acuvue lenses feature. Daily disposable contact lenses are the most convenient and healthy way to wear contacts and this affordable option by Acuvue is a great option to keep in mind when you are considering your next contact lens purchase.
