Great lens for eye health

I was an extended-wear user for over twenty years, including sleeping in my lenses (and also regularly exceeding the recommended life of the lenses). As a result, I was getting an allergic reaction in my eye that made it feel as if I always had something in my eye.

My doctor recommended a daily wear, and after trying a couple of other lenses, we settled on these. Within a week, I no longer had the allergic reaction--so needless to say, I am very pleased on that front.

Besides that, the lenses are very comfortable. I don't even notice they are in most of the time, and I will wear them at least 18 hours a day (current record is 35 hours with no sleep). Also significant is that I do not give my eyes a break with a glasses-only day--and I wear them every day from when I wake up to when I go to bed.

Regarding the "con" above of blurred vision, I have figured that one out. As another reviewer has noted, due to the packaging, sometimes a lens will be "warped" when you open the container--and the warped lens will give you blurry vision in that eye. Solution--when I get one like that, I just turn the lens over in the container so that the lens is sitting correctly, lay the foil back down to keep dust from collecting in the solution, and put it in back in my medicine cabinet. And voila! The next day the lens has gone back to its correct shape. Problem solved.

Last comment--I use the Systane Ultra drops, which makes these even more comfortable to wear all day. I put one drop in the lens before inserting, and that lasts all day for me.

Great Contacts, Bad Quality Assurance

I love these contacts when they aren't defective. As others have said, I have found quite a few defective contacts. They aren't round like the others but instead, kind of warped. When I put them in, they are not only uncomfortable, but they cause my vision to be blurred so I have to throw them away.

When they aren't defective though, I love them. They are very comfortable. I previously used Acuvue Moist and the TruEye feels even better. It's almost like you don't even have them on.

excellent contact lenses. i've tried many different brands, and these are the best. they may be slightly more costly, but it is definitely worth it.

These are the most comfortable contacts I've ever worn. I used to have trouble with Accuvue and Accuvue Oasys, my eyes would get really dry and irritated by the end of the day. I have no problem at all with these and I have a very strong prescription.

I put them in at 6:30am on work days and use them all day....usually for 10 hours.
I usually wear glasses on weekends unless going out for an occasion.
I have chronic dry eyes and was unable to wear most other contacts due to excess protein build up. After several trials of different brands, these are the ones that worked great for me. Also, I wear progressive bifocals and chose to wear mono vision contacts...took about 10 days to really get used to the vision, but once I did, it was worth hanging in there! The only con I have is that during allergy season or if heat is on high, I do experience blurry vision at times...sort of like looking through Saran wrap when that occurs.

I have used Acuvue Trueye for over 2 years, and they are the best contacts I've used in the past decade+. I've used almost every Acuvue product, from Acuvue 2, oasys, advance, and moist, and these are the most comfortable and easiest to wear. I used to wear the 2/oasys/advance for long periods of time for about a decade, which damaged my cornea (so my optometrist said). I could no longer wear regular contacts as my eyes would get bloodshot for days and I would be in pain. Optometrist recommended dailies because of the protein deposits, but Acuvue moist dry out really quickly and I could not wear them for more than a few hours. When the Trueye came out, I immediately ordered them and fell in love. I can wear these all day as I did back 10 years ago when I first started wearing contacts. Great contacts! Very comfortable and practical. Highly recommended.

I am really disappointed with this brand. I have been wearing Focus Dailies for years with no complaints. Recently, my eye dr. recommended this brand due to a higher oxygen level. I bought some hesitantly because of the price. I was impressed that they protect against UVs but some of them...not all of them..are misshapen. I put them in anyway and then the entire day, I have blurry vision in that eye. As expensive as they are, they should be better made.
