Great lens for eye health

I was an extended-wear user for over twenty years, including sleeping in my lenses (and also regularly exceeding the recommended life of the lenses). As a result, I was getting an allergic reaction in my eye that made it feel as if I always had something in my eye.

My doctor recommended a daily wear, and after trying a couple of other lenses, we settled on these. Within a week, I no longer had the allergic reaction--so needless to say, I am very pleased on that front.

Besides that, the lenses are very comfortable. I don't even notice they are in most of the time, and I will wear them at least 18 hours a day (current record is 35 hours with no sleep). Also significant is that I do not give my eyes a break with a glasses-only day--and I wear them every day from when I wake up to when I go to bed.

Regarding the "con" above of blurred vision, I have figured that one out. As another reviewer has noted, due to the packaging, sometimes a lens will be "warped" when you open the container--and the warped lens will give you blurry vision in that eye. Solution--when I get one like that, I just turn the lens over in the container so that the lens is sitting correctly, lay the foil back down to keep dust from collecting in the solution, and put it in back in my medicine cabinet. And voila! The next day the lens has gone back to its correct shape. Problem solved.

Last comment--I use the Systane Ultra drops, which makes these even more comfortable to wear all day. I put one drop in the lens before inserting, and that lasts all day for me.

Great Contacts, Bad Quality Assurance

I love these contacts when they aren't defective. As others have said, I have found quite a few defective contacts. They aren't round like the others but instead, kind of warped. When I put them in, they are not only uncomfortable, but they cause my vision to be blurred so I have to throw them away.

When they aren't defective though, I love them. They are very comfortable. I previously used Acuvue Moist and the TruEye feels even better. It's almost like you don't even have them on.

Inverting every other strip of lenses results in an unacceptable number of lenses deformed from lack of hydration. They can be worn but frequently never seat properly.

I've been using TruEye since it was first introduced in the Market, prior to that, I was using Moist and I can easily tell that TruEye is way better than Moist.

The reason why I buy from this website is: the good value and high quality of their products,also the good customer service I experienced.

The only disadvantage about TruEye was that sometimes when you open the cover you would find the lenses closed; even if you try to open it by your finger, the shape will not be as similar to the normal lenses; this is mainly due to being closed for a long period.

Since this issue rarely occurs, I'm still satisfied with TruEye, as I believe that the issue occurs due to the fact that the lenses is the softest among Acuvue products.

My doctor said my eyes were not getting enough oxygen with the 1 Day Acuvue and switched me to TruEye.

They are more comfortable and easy to put in. However, they are harder to remove at night. Minor annoyance given the improvement in comfort

Have mistakenly fallen asleep with the contacts in. Not to be recommended, but my eyes weren't puffed up and sore the next morning as with previous lenses. There seems to be far more permeability and moisture. I live in a very dry climate.
