I had trouble keeping my contacts clean and free from irritating my eyes. My doctor said my eyes just produce more protein build up than others. It was hard for me to keep my previous contacts from feeling irritated all the time, even though I kept them clean and rotated them on the recommended schedule (mine were the 2 month and dispose type). He suggested these dailies and they have worked well for me. My eyes still get irritated once in a while, but I also have allergies and I tend to wear my contacts for 16 hours a day. I would recommend trying the dailies for anyone that has issues keeping their contacts clean. The downside is they are crazy expensive. For me however, I couldn't seem to find another alternative. I try to give my eyes a break from any contact wear on the weekends if I'm not playing sports or doing something where glasses are not practical.

I've worn Acuvue Trueye for years and been very happy. The last batch I ordered from my doctor's office, however, seemed to get blurry really easily -- makeup was constantly sticking to it -- and I had to try to frequently clean them during the day to make them wearable. But I was going through multiple pairs a day sometimes! I thought I was going crazy until I went to reorder from this website and saw Acuvue had changed the material on these contacts (from Nara B to Nara A). Nara A is far inferior to B, in my opinion. Now I have to go back to the optomistrist and find a new brand of contacts!

Comments about 1-Day Acuvue TruEye NAR A Contact Lens, 90 ea:

I'm very disappointed that I did not listen to the other reviewers who complained about the NAR A replacement. Everyone is different and I've never had any issues wearing dialies before, so I thought it would be no problem. I've been wearing these contacts for years and loved them. However, this most recent pack leaves my eyes dry and itchy. I am someone who puts their contacts in first thing in the morning and does not take them out until right before bed. By the time I get home from work, I'm struggling to keep them in. I constantly rub my eyes out of discomfort - and always feel like I have something in my eye causing pain. It usually does not start until later on in the day. However, going from no issues to constant struggles with full-day wear is extremely frustrating. Please do not purchase these contacts. I am going to the eye doctor soon and will be making the switch to a new brand.

Comments about 1-Day Acuvue TruEye NAR A Contact Lens, 90 ea:

I had tried many brands and finally settled on the acuvue trueye years ago as they were the most comfortable contacts ever. This last round was awful. I had no idea what was going on with my new sample pack and the eye dr thought it odd that all 10 were very dry and scratchy for me. It was when I went to reorder and read the reviews on the new NAR A product. It is bad and I will not use them. Believe the reviews! They seem much thicker and it's hard to blink. They get stuck and are very dry. Extremely uncomfortable and want to close my eyes or yank them out. Definitely try first before buying.

I ordered these because they stopped making the NAR B, which I absolutely loved, and I hate these. They are uncomfortable and dry out in a few hours. If I wanted to wear these throughout the day I would have to change them every few hours. They are terrible, stay away

This is a terrible product--I have very dry eyes and the coating that they put in these disposables cracks immediately (within a couple of hours) with dry eyes, causing it to feel like there is an eyelash in my eye/tear in my lenses. They are so uncomfortable, I can't wear them for more than a few hours. I've tried many other brands, and ALL are more comfortable than this (with the best being Alcon Dailies).

I almost gave on contacts because I've worn these for the last few years and I couldn't keep them in for more than an hour over. They changed the material and they made my eyes dry, irritated, and I had constant protein buildup. Do yourself a favor and try Dailies Total 1. My doctor suggested them and I couldn't be happier. I have absolutely NO issues with them and they're so comfortable, I forget I have them in. Acuvue's quality has dropped and I've switched to a MUCH better option.

I had never tried Nara B so I can't compare the two formulas but I really like the TruEyes! Before I had been switching between 30 day and dailies because I felt like the other Acuvue Dailies dried up on me by 10pm every night and I am a night owl. I sometimes accidentally fall asleep in the TruEyes and my eyes don't hurt in the morning if I wake up and pop them out right away. I feel like they are really comfortable, I can see clearly and do not experience dryness or discomfort.

These lenses are much thicker and heavier than most daily disposables, which makes them less prone to tearing. Unlike other soft lenses, which can fly out of your eye from the slightest disturbance, these stay in place - in fact, they're a bit hard to get out of your eye, as their thickness doesn't allow them to curl up in your eye. My biggest complaint is the quality control - about one in 30 lenses is warped when I take it out of the package. I suspect it might be the position the lens is stored in the packaging. The specs say they are better for your eye - better oxygen/moisture/etc, but I feel like they're a bit rougher on my eyes - but I'm sticking with them because the security of not losing my contact lenses if I get splashed

My 12 year old daughter has been wearing Acuvue NAR B dailies for almost 4 years. she is a +6 in one eye +5 in the other. Her prescription was discontinued in the NAR B. After one week of wearing the NAR A she commented (unprompted) that she liked these better and felt like they did not dry out during the day.

I agree with everyone else about these contacts being horrible now that they've changed the material. I've been wearing these for years and now I can't wear a pair for more than three hours...at the most. My eyes are dry to begin with, that's why my doctor prescribed these. I don't even wear contacts very often now because I feel like it's a total waste to throw a pair away after a few hours. I'm asking my doctor for a different brand at my next visit. Save your money and stay away from these.
