After my last eye exam I found that this brand was going to be discontinued, so I tried a box of the Acuvue Advance and what a difference! They are incredibly thin and flexible and I don't even notice them in at all, even after extended wear as they keep quite moist all day (the Acuvue 2's used to become unbearably dry after wearing them for a few hours). Unfortunately, I didn't test out the sample pair she gave me before ordering more. After switching I'm very unhappy. These are much more uncomfortable. They retain their shape, so if I forget to check that they're lying flat in their case at night, when I put them in the next day they're misshapen and painful. After a few days of wear, they begin to blur badly toward the end of the day. My prescription strength increased with my last visit, and I was excited for new lenses to improve my vision, but these are almost worse than my old lenses. As I'm typing this review, after having these Advance lenses in for just about ten hours, I can barely read what I type because they're so blurry! Comments about Acuvue Advance Contact Lens, 6 ea: I wear my acuvue contacts all day long and rarely need to take them out or use solutions or eye drops (but that'll depend on what your optician recommends, of course), I just take them out at night before I go to bed. They usually last 25-30 days with this kind of use. Pros
