I also have horses and they stand up to the dust and dirt of all day wear while working around animals and riding. I have worn contact lenses for thirty years, and these are by far the best. These are by far THE worst contacts I have ever worn. My optometrist apparently did not hear me when I said I wear Acuvue2 and she prescribed these slimy thick pieces of plastic instead. I ordered a year's worth; not knowing just how unsatisfied I would be. I went through the year supply in SIX months!!! One would tear or disintegrate, literally, ever other day! They don't clean very well, they feel greasy even after numerous cleanings, they are fairly thick and you notice that you are wearing them. Comments about Acuvue Advance Plus 24 Pk Contact Lens, 24 lenses per Box: I was prescribed these contacts to replace my Acuvue Advance lenses, which my doctor told me were being discontinued. These lenses are ok, but I admit I prefer the regular Acuvue Advance. The Acuvue Advance Plus are thicker, which makes them easier to handle and more durable, but they seem to dry my eyes and are less comfortable to wear than the regular Acuvue Advance. Pros
