My vision, long distance (sign reading while driving) particularly, was seemingly deteriorating. I kept returning for consulations and tweaking, to no avail. I chanced upon a coupon for a free trial of Air Optix and figured that I had nothing to lose. I had very low expectations but, boy, was I surprised!! First of all, they seemed a little stiffer putting in, and I began to grumble. But they settled on my eye within seconds and I COULD SEE MUCH, MUCH BETTER!! I thought I was imagining it, but I realized I could read street signs, directional signs, and even used my readers less. I was sold on Air Optix from that point. The optician neglected to mention that these were 30-day lenses, unlike the two-week Acuvue lenses. So, unfortunately, I discarded them after two weeks and returned to my year's supply of Acuvue. I couldn't stand it. I wanted to SEE! So I went back to order a supply, and that's when the sales clerk told me they were 30-day lenses. So, not only could I see much better, but they were cheaper too! I was going on about it while another customer was being fitted for frames. She chimed in and agreed that SHE COULD SEE MUCH BETTER WITH AIR OPTIX! I was upset that I spent so many years of poor vision unnecessarily. If I hadn't tried these myself, I would still be struggling with vision correction. These lenses are DEFINITELY worth exploring. The fit is different but then, so is the correction, and they might be right for you. Plus, they are HALF THE COST OF ACUVUE! VS Most Liked Negative Review Meh. Yes, they solved the dry problem and my vision is quite clear with them, however, they feel so thick and heavy in my eyes that I am constantly aware that I'm wearing them. Plus, they have no colors. :( Reviewed by 118 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 31-40 Pros

Comments about Air Optix Aqua Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box: I was sick of the contacts I wore before Air Optix. They were 2 week contacts that I would try to get a week or two extra out of but sometimes they wouldn't even last the 2 weeks. I wanted a contact that would stay moist and would last longer so I got Air Optix. I am so happy I did! Not only are they more comfortable that I feel like I don't have contacts in, but they actually do last all day and all night! I just went to the midnight premier of the latest Batman movie. I had my contacts in from 6:45am to nearly 4:10am the next day and I even took a small nap in them and I never once had to add eye drops or take them out because they were uncomfortable. They may be up there in price but when you figure out what you pay for 2 week contacts you actually save money! Pros

Comments about Air Optix Aqua Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box: I was worried when Ciba discontinued the Focus contacts I had been wearing, they were the only contacts my sensitive eyes would accept. But I've had no problems switching to Air Optix. It took a little getting used to how thick they are compared to my last contacts but that didn't take long. Pros

Cons Best Uses Comments about Air Optix Aqua Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box: I have been ordering Air Optix lenses for a couple of years because my doctor's office can't come close to the price. The contacts are more than twice as high even with shipping cost. I have never received a defective lense. I have always received my order promptly. I also took advantage of the rebate offered. It did take awhile, but received it as promised. Displaying reviews 31-40
