My vision, long distance (sign reading while driving) particularly, was seemingly deteriorating. I kept returning for consulations and tweaking, to no avail. I chanced upon a coupon for a free trial of Air Optix and figured that I had nothing to lose. I had very low expectations but, boy, was I surprised!! First of all, they seemed a little stiffer putting in, and I began to grumble. But they settled on my eye within seconds and I COULD SEE MUCH, MUCH BETTER!! I thought I was imagining it, but I realized I could read street signs, directional signs, and even used my readers less. I was sold on Air Optix from that point. The optician neglected to mention that these were 30-day lenses, unlike the two-week Acuvue lenses. So, unfortunately, I discarded them after two weeks and returned to my year's supply of Acuvue. I couldn't stand it. I wanted to SEE! So I went back to order a supply, and that's when the sales clerk told me they were 30-day lenses. So, not only could I see much better, but they were cheaper too! I was going on about it while another customer was being fitted for frames. She chimed in and agreed that SHE COULD SEE MUCH BETTER WITH AIR OPTIX! I was upset that I spent so many years of poor vision unnecessarily. If I hadn't tried these myself, I would still be struggling with vision correction. These lenses are DEFINITELY worth exploring. The fit is different but then, so is the correction, and they might be right for you. Plus, they are HALF THE COST OF ACUVUE! VS Most Liked Negative Review Meh. Yes, they solved the dry problem and my vision is quite clear with them, however, they feel so thick and heavy in my eyes that I am constantly aware that I'm wearing them. Plus, they have no colors. :( Reviewed by 118 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 11-20 Pros

Best Uses Comments about Air Optix Aqua Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box: I've been wearing Acuvue brand contacts for 19 years. For At least the last 12 or so years I have been in Acuvue 2s. The only issues I had were figuring out which side was the correct side to put them in from time to time. Otherwise I loved the no hassle feel and vision they provided. I just recently switched to Air Optix by Ciba Vision due to my eyes starting to become drier. I love that Air Optix are thicker and easier to maneuver in your hand while getting ready to put them in place. They are not flimsy at all which makes it much easier to clean them along with take them in and out. I was worried I may feel them more while wearing them due to the thickness however I do not feel them at all! I also like the fact that they are monthly wear instead of the usual two week wear. The only complaint that I have with them is that I have to take them out to clean them often due to any lil particle of dust or dirt coming near your eye. Being a female and wearing eyeliner or eye shadow from time to time tends to become annoying. A little tiny spec can fall or smear into the eye and it will not just flush away with normal tears. I have to take the contacts out and rinse them off so they are fresh and clean all over again. Otherwise I have no issues and like the comfort factor! If your thinking of switching brands I would suggest trying the Air Optix out! Pros

Cons Best Uses Comments about Air Optix Aqua Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box: They do dry out some, but much better than other contacts I tried. Last time I used the O2 optix which were not as comfortable and dried out quicker. Displaying reviews 11-20
