When my astigmatism worsened in one eye, the doctor suggesting I try Air Optix with a correction for astigmatism. She made me wait an hour before leaving the office, just to make sure it was working for me and didn't bother me. (They are slightly thicker than the regular Air Optix and are weighted a bit to stay in position.) Once I assured her I couldn't even feel it on my eye, she told me to come back in a few weeks for an exam check up. I did that, and she could see no problems at all with my wearing this lens. I was delighted, because it did a FABULOUS job of correcting my vision. Don't hesitate to try this lens. It is very comfortable. I haven't had any trouble with it at all. Thank goodness it is available for me!

These lenses were more comfortable than the lenses my doctor recommended initially (those were more expensive, of course) as far as being noticeable in my eyes, but I found them to be VERY dry and had to use rewetting drops mutiple times a day. They also moved around less than the other lenses, but I still found myself blinking hard to get them to settle back to where they should be at times. I think any savings there was over the more expensive lenses would be cancelled out by having to purchase gallons of rewetting drops. They were easy to handle, put in and remove. I would recommend them for the comfort and the value, maybe they just weren't a good fit for my eyes when it comes to the dryness.

Comments about Air Optix for Astigmatism Contact Lens, 6 lenses per Box:

--I use them daily from soon after wake-up to just before going to bed, usually 16+ hours.
    --always comfortable
--have had only one lens out of 30 get torn (no big deal)
--Seem to stay clean and clear for the full one-month wearing time
--almost never pop-out (this occurs mostly just after inserting, or if they did not get placed correctly, or still had a bit of dirt on the inside)
--I use Clear Eyes(R) Maximum Redness Relief every morning. I wait 1 to 5 minutes before inserting the lens. This has really helped with overall redness in my eyes.

    --excellent condition

Comments about Air Optix for Astigmatism Contact Lens, 6 lenses per Box:

I wear these lens every day. They seem to last me a little over a month of wear at a time. Sometimes I find I need to readjust the lens in my eye to get a clearer vision. I tend to not see as clearly with the lens on after dark and while driving. I typically wear my glasses at night.

Comments about Air Optix for Astigmatism Contact Lens, 6 lenses per Box:

It's a good contact lens. My doctor recommended it and I really liked it but at his store it was kind of expensive so I searched online. I was nervous to buy from online but now that I did received it the contact lens works fine. The only problem is that it causes my eyes to be a little red when I first put it in but I think it might be a bit dirty and I didn't clean it very well.

Astigmatisms, otherwise known as non-symmetrical corneas, affect millions of people, many of which need corrective lenses like glasses or contact lenses. Trying to find contact lenses to fit the needs of those with astigmatisms can be difficult. AIR OPTIX for Astigmatism is a disposable soft contact that is an ideal choice for people with this condition. AIR OPTIX lenses offer up to five times more oxygen to the eye because they are made using Silicone Hydrogel Technology, which also helps to protect the eye from dryness, discomfort, and redness, which many people who wear lenses experience (especially after a long day of wear). AIR OPTIX lenses have been designed with ease of use and convenience in mind; not only have they been approved for both daily and extended wear (for up to six days), they also feature blue visibility tint, and a unique plasma lens surface treatment (for a cleaner lens surface). Just because you have astigmatism doesn’t mean you can’t wear contacts. Be sure to check with your eye care professional today!
