This product is a godsend for me. I was prescribed bifocal eyeglasses and with having fibromyalgia, it hurts to wear them during flareups. Now with these monthly wear multifocal contact lenses, I no longer have the hassle of wearing the eyeglasses and it makes my quality of eyesight more simple and with much more comfort. I have nothing negative to say about this product.

After trying several types of lenses in my Doctor's office, I purchased Optix Multi-Focal lenses. Mono vision lenses weren't adequate for reading any longer.

But after a month of use, I really am unhappy with the quality of vision I have with Optix MF. Distance is barely acceptable, and reading is still an issue. Need to have a bright light to see the fine print. Not too many situations in my day where I have a bright reading light. Also, the left lense doesn't fit as well as the right. Feels loose. I did not have this issue with my other soft lenses.

I recommend to use a trial pair for a least a month before purchasing.

Comments about Air Optix Multifocal Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box:

I have used the CIBA Air Optics Multifocals for 2 years and just ordered another year supply. I love these lenses for correcting my distance vision and helping with near/reading vision.

Contacts are such a personal choice. After reading several reviews here I'm disapointed that people blame the lens and they should be in a different contact or brand. These lenses works great for me and I think they are the best monthly multifocus lens on the market. That being said I only wear them for 3 weeks (21 days) before changing out to a new pair. I do sleep in my lenses from time to time but it is best to take them out and soak them every night. They are expensive compaired to others on the market so do your research and find what works best for you.

Near the end of the day I do find that they dry out and I keep some lubricating drops handy while watching TV. I work on a computer for several hours a day and I don't suffer from fatigue with these lenses. I plan on staying in this brand until the next great product comes along.

Comments about Air Optix Multifocal Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box:

I have tried several multi-focal contacts, and these have been both the most comfortable, as well as providing the best compromise on distance/near. My optometrist tells me they are the lens that permits the most oxygen across its surface, which is good for the cornea.
That said, both fit and vision are highly personal choices.

The dont easily flip. More stable than Oasys. That's makes a little more rigid, but still comfortable. They are 3X more expensive than Oasys so I am wearing them an extra week, so far with no problems

Comfortable contacts even up to the time to replace them. Stay moist for 8+ hours. They do have a limited range for reading. Won't be able to use these once my reading vision exceeds what the highest range covers.

This lenses turned out to be the best match for my vision and needs. I find it easier to remember to change out my lenses once a month rather than twice. Also, since I occasionally fall asleep wearing my contacts, I find that I still handle them. However, I would not recommend sleeping in them on a regular basis.
