I wear a -9.00 and have been wearing these for years. I am a volunteer lifeguard and even swim with these. I have never lost one in the surf. I recommend taking these out at night and soaking in contact lens solution which is better health for your eyes(I don't think regularly sleeping with these is wise..give your eyes a break!) and it means you can use these for longer, even 6 weeks. A cheaper option is the Air Optix Aqua which is similar except that have more water content and therefore may be more comfortable.

These were great for the first couple of months, but then my eyes started to get really irritated. They would often float so that the contact was hovering over my eye but not touching my eye completely, or not settling, causing blurred vision. It didn't happen as much if I took them out at night, but it's a pretty expensive contact to have to take out every night when you're paying for 30 days and nights. Might as well just get the ones you take out at night.

Comments about Air Optix Night & Day Aqua Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box:

These are the only contact lenses I can sleep in without waking up in terrible pain and feeling like I have cornflakes in my eyes. I've been wearing these for 10+ years (since they were called "Focus Night & Day"). They are breathable lenses. However, I do not recommend wearing for 30 days straight (even though you can). I ended up with eye infection for wearing too many days in a row. Now I take them out at night once every 3-4 days. They are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Comments about Air Optix Night & Day Aqua Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box:

Love I can put these in and not remove them for days. They do get dry so I use eye drops in the a.m. and then good for the rest of the day.
They seem to float and I have blurred vision, especially when reading, but that's not all the time. When this happens I take them out and put them in a cleaning solution a couple days.
Difficult to read road signs at night due to I have mono vision.

Comments about Air Optix Night & Day Aqua Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box:

I absolutely love Air Optix Night and Day lenses. I used to wear Acuvue Oasys, but those are two-week lenses that feel filmy the closer you get to the end. N&D lenses last the full month and you don't have to take them out. (I do every week or so just to let my eyes breathe and let the lenses soak.) I used to work as an optometrist technician, where I learned about the N&Ds and made the switch. Many people love this brand, and these are far less likely to cause eye ulcers and other horrible problems that prevent contact wear.

the tears in the edges, make the lens hurt and useless. It makes me have to purchase more. 2 weeks, and I get tears in the edge. CIBA VISION NEEDS TO ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM. I may have to try a different brand!!!

              • Contact lens wear and replacement schedules are provided based on manufacturer guidelines for a given lens type. It is strongly recommended that you consult with your eye care practitioner to determine the correct wear and replacement best suited to your needs.

              • Daily disposable lenses are designed for single use only and should not be used beyond the one day schedule.

              • Weekly, monthly and annual replacement lenses require proper cleaning between uses. Consult with your eye care practitioner for the lens type prescribed for the correct solution type and frequency.
