I wear a -9.00 and have been wearing these for years. I am a volunteer lifeguard and even swim with these. I have never lost one in the surf. I recommend taking these out at night and soaking in contact lens solution which is better health for your eyes(I don't think regularly sleeping with these is wise..give your eyes a break!) and it means you can use these for longer, even 6 weeks. A cheaper option is the Air Optix Aqua which is similar except that have more water content and therefore may be more comfortable.

These were great for the first couple of months, but then my eyes started to get really irritated. They would often float so that the contact was hovering over my eye but not touching my eye completely, or not settling, causing blurred vision. It didn't happen as much if I took them out at night, but it's a pretty expensive contact to have to take out every night when you're paying for 30 days and nights. Might as well just get the ones you take out at night.

Comments about Air Optix Night & Day Aqua Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box:

Love these contacts---no need to remove each night and so very comfortable to wear. First night sleeping in them thought my sight had been restored----only to realize that I was sleeping in my air optic contacts that didn't need to be removed each night!! Never a problem with these lens.

Comments about Air Optix Night & Day Aqua Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box:

I have been having major eye allergy issues and my Dr. recommended these contacts- changed my morning routine tremendously! No more sealed shut, goopy, crusty eyes! I was having to take out my two week contacts every night and cleaning my eyes and putting drops in every morning before putting them back on. No more! Big time saver for someone who likes to sleep till the last possible second! :)

          • Long Term Computer Work

Comments about Air Optix Night & Day Aqua Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box:

I used to experience very dry eyes whenever I wore contacts, probably because I spend about 6-8 hours a day on the computer for my job. I tried many different brands of contacts, solutions, and eye drops and nothing helped my dry eyes problem. I usually wear my contacts from 5:00 am until 10:00 pm and when my eyes were dry I could barely get my contacts out at the end of the day because they were stuck to my eyeballs. Since I started wear Air Optix Night and Day Aqua, my dry eyes problem is gone. The uncomfortable stickiness and blurriness in my eyes caused by dry eyes is completely gone and I have no problem taking my contacts out after wearing them for 17 hours. Even though I never sleep in these contacts, I find it very worth it to spend the extra money on them because they are so comfortable all day long.

I wore my first contact from you today. By Noon it had folded and ended up way up in my eye. I had to dig it out with tissue. It looked lopsided, it almost looked torn but wasn't. I threw it away. It didn't seem to be of good quality. I will try a second one tomorrow. I only wear one contact for reading and seeing up close.

Many contact wearers like the benefit of being able to wear their contact lenses on a 24-hour basis – this way they can wake up to perfect/near perfect vision, without having to search for their glasses, or scramble to put in a pair of lenses. Ciba Vision offers the AIR OPTIX NIGHT & DAY AQUA contact lens, which features their AQUA Moisture System to help keep your eyes feeling comfortable from the moment you open your eyes in the morning to the time you go to sleep at night – and every moment in between. Air Optix are a great choice for those who have to hit the ground running, like students, moms (especially new moms), and for those who do a lot of travel. These day and night lenses can be worn for approximately 30 days without having to be removed and according to their maker, CIBA VISION, they also allow the most oxygen through the lens than any other soft contact lens available.

Contact lens wear and replacement schedules are provided based on manufacturer guidelines for a given lens type. It is strongly recommended that you consult with your eye care practitioner to determine the correct wear and replacement best suited to your needs.

Daily disposable lenses are designed for single use only and should not be used beyond the one day schedule.

Weekly, monthly and annual replacement lenses require proper cleaning between uses. Consult with your eye care practitioner for the lens type prescribed for the correct solution type and frequency.
