Comments about Avatar Contact Lens, 1 lens per Vial:
First time contact wearer. I have brown to green eyes depending on my mood. My eyes aren't super dark, but they are certainly not light.
The lenses in the picture look yellow to me with some green specks, that how the lenses look in the vial, but when i put them on they are bright green. The lens description is green so I cant really complain. These are not realistic looking lenses, but I wanted these for a Halloween costume so I wanted something that stood out. Realistic might be nice for a color change but I wanted people who didn't know me to notice my eyes weren't normal. So personally I like the non-realistic look.
One of the lenses settles after a few minutes and is fairly comfortable, but the other lens feels like it has a real hard edge and remains uncomfortable. There is no indicator on the vile for left or right eye so the second time I wore them I switched eyes and the one lens is still very uncomfortable. You will want to keep a bottle of lubricating drops near by, but that just might be because contacts are new to me(?).
Putting the contacts in isn't too hard, but it seemed like the contact wanted to flip inside out on my finger instead of into my eye.
Its hard for me to recommend these to a friend because while you might get a great pair of contacts you may also get one or two very uncomfortable lenses.
