Biofinity® contact lenses are made from a unique, naturally water-loving material, Aquaform*, that helps them stay moist & comfortable all day long. Biofinity's revolutionary lens material is also highly breathable, allowing greater levels of oxygen to freely flow through the lens helping to keep your eyes clear, white, & healthy looking.
The secret is CooperVision's patented Aquaform™ technology, which optimizes the relationship between oxygen & water, creating a softer, more flexible lens material. It all adds up to a naturally comfortable lens with no additives, coatings, wetting agents, or surface treatments. Nothing comes between you & a more comfortable lens-wearing experience.
Biofinity® contact lenses by CooperVision are also packaged & sold under private label brand Aquaclear.

I have been wearing contacts for over 20 years. Probably for the first time since my very first fitting, I went through a refitting and consultation. Probably the best [$] I spent. My new lens fitter took the time to discuss how I use my contacts, what I want out of them, any issues I have, etc. In the end, she switched me from the Oasys, which I have been using for as long as I can remember, to the Biofinity.Several reasons include: the Biofinity are a 30-day lens, they are cleared for occasional night and day wear (in my case I am cleared for up to 4-5 nights between cleanings), and the high amount of oxygen they allow into the eye. The firmer material also make it easy to pop in the contacts in the morning. She switched me from ReNu to the Clear Care cleaning system, which I absolutely love (truly no rub, yet it thoroughly cleans). The only down side, compared to the Oasys, is that the contacts are much more noticeable when spending hours working on computers or driving (due to the diminished blinking that occurs). This is the only reason I can't give them a perfect 5-star score. However, one or two drops of the Blink Lubricating Eye Drops and they feel fresh out of the cleaning solution again.

I've been wearing Frequency Aspheric 55 for the last 10 years. My doc recommended that I tried Biofinity as they were superior in terms of keeping up with modern technology. I've tried Biofinity and I must say I am very dissatisfied and will be re-ordering a new batch of Frequency lenses. Reason being - blurred vision. It's just blurred, focus seems to be playing back and forth and it never settles, even after 16 hour wear. I've tried another pair on another day, with the same effect. On the positive side I would like to point out, Biofinity lenses are very comfortable when it comes to eye comfort. I have not felt any discomfort with my eyes by the end of day, as I used to have from time to time with Frequency lenses. However, this strong side is nullified by my inability to find stable focus and I ended up with headache on both days when I've tried Biofinity. Quite possible this is just my individual incompatibility issue and other people may feel fine. Long story short, I'm definitely back to Frequency Aspheric 55.
Comments about Biofinity Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box:
I was formerly wearing Acuvue Oasys and the Dr. wanted me to try these. My main complaint with the Oasys was that they didn't last me more than a couple weeks before getting uncomfortable. I have been able to compare the Biofinity to my leftover Oasys and they do seem to offer me clearer vision, although I still have to change after 2 weeks (not so much for comfort but because after a couple weeks they seem to get blurry.) The only downside is that they really adhere to the eye and sometimes I have a hard time removing them.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments about Biofinity Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box:
My eye doctor tells me that these contacts are better than the old kind because they are breathable and allow for better air flow for my eyes.
However, I do not find these contacts are long lasting. The box says to replace monthly, but I find they dry out before that. Half way through a month, the lens become uncomfortable and I cannot wear them for the entire day.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
If you have been thinking about contacts for a while, but just haven’t yet taken the plunge because you have been afraid of them being comfortable, or you already wear contacts and are looking for a higher level of comfort than what your current lens provides, then you should definitely check out Biofinity contact lenses. These lenses are made using AQUAFORM technology – which allows a high amount of oxygen to pass through the lens. They are designed to keep your eye comfortable all day long, as they are made with a soft and moist lens material that helps prevent the eye from becoming tired. These lenses are also disposable, which lessens the amount of pollen and dust that can collect on the lens – simply toss out the old and open a new pair following the wear cycle determined by you and your eye care professional. Biofinity contact lenses are a great option for anyone who wears contacts that is looking for a comfortable, soft, and flexible lens. They are also available in a toric lens for those who have astigmatisms as well as in a multifocal lens form for those with presbyopia.
