One contact is noted N and one is noted D. The D contact has a larger single vision opening. In effect this give a slight monovision that helps with all ranges and reduces the negatives of multifocal contacts. Add to this comfort and durability. No contact is perfect for aging eyes, but these are the best I've worn. After that, it feels like there is a grain of sand under the lens. I've tried swapping lenses between eyes, and the discomfort follows the lens, so I can only conclude I got a bad batch. They are very comfortable, but after about 15+ hours of wear, my eyes feel dry. I am a night shift worker part of the year, and they only get dry feeling around 3 a.m. during a 12 hour shift. I do have to wear reading glasses to read books, papers, labels, etc. Not a problem for me. I would rather have the distance vision. A great contact if this type is needed. Pros

Comments about Biofinity Multifocal Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box: These do help me to see up close, but I've lost a little distance vision with them. They're also very thin and I don't think I've had one last a full month yet, so I had to buy extra so I could change them every couple of weeks. They're more difficult to take off the eye because of the thinness, so they occasionally get a small crease in them that makes them uncomfortable to wear. However, if you're willing to spend the money to have extras on hand, you'll no longer have to carry reading glasses with you which is a definite plus. Pros
