This manufacturer I was told, was having trouble and the lenses were hard to get. My eye care professional switched me to Accuvu which I have hated for three years. They rollup, dry out, turn inside out so I was very happy to find that Biomedics were available on line. For me they are superior to Accuvu in every way. Since they seem to be more substantial than accuvu I would not fall asleep with these in as they may dry out faster.

I have had them for 5 weeks and have only 2 pairs left out of 6. Each left contact had a very small tear in them, very small at the same spot on every contact. I thought may have been only one but 4 pairs I have gone thru all with the same defect.

Comments about Biomedics Toric Contact Lens, 6 lenses per Box:
Most comfortable contacts ever used, and I hope to continue their use for years to come. Started wearing contacts in 1991 at age 46, now 68, and who says "older people" can't wear contacts. Wrong!

Astigmatism is a common condition where the cornea is non-symmetrical, and it affects millions of people. For those with astigmatism who need corrective lenses like contacts, they often find that getting a lens that is both comfortable while effectively correcting their vision can be a difficult endeavor. In fact, many people with this condition may have thought that soft contacts were not an option for them. Biomedics Toric lenses (also sold under the name Aqualite Toric lenses), is a disposable contact lens with a two-week wear cycle. Disposable lenses are a healthier option for the eye as they require less maintenance, and there is less of a chance of dust, pollen and other debris collecting on the lens, which can cause discomfort. The patented edge allows for better comfort, and the stability of the lens gives clear, crisp images all day long – even after hours of wear.
Ocular Sciences, the maker of this lens will often package the Biomedics brand lenses under different private labels. For your reference, Biomedics/UltraFlex is often packaged as: Aqualite, Aqualens, Aquatech, Biomedics, Clearsoft, Clinasoft, Flextique, Hydroflex, Hydrovue, Mediflex, Medisoft, Neoflex, Neotech, Ocupure, Omniflex, Optiflex, Optiform, Perspecta, Polyform, Polysoft, Procon, Proflex, Prosite, Sofmed, Softech, Solflex Softique, Softview, Softvue, Target, Toplens Ultraflex, and Versaflex. These lenses are also known as Aqualite Toric & may be shipped under this name. They are otherwise identical in every respect.
