I bought these to replace the accuvue color opaque which has been discontinued. The color is really nice and I do get compliments from many people. However, they are bigger lenses and do not feel as comfortable as the accuvue. They feel thicker and dryer than the accuvue. I'm able to wear them all day without much discomfort. The manufacturer said they can last up to one year with good maintenance, but I have my doubts. I'll be happy if they can last 6 months. I'm using a peroxide solution with extra moisturizing which does help. I just wish accuvue would keep on making the color opaque series. They were perfect for me.

I bought a pair of these to wear with a costume. The character has aqua eyes and I wanted something as close to that color as possible, which also had a prescription. These lenses fit the bill! There is no doubt I am wearing colored lenses as the color is nowhere near natural, but I have gotten nothing but compliments on them. I didn't buy them to look natural anyway! They're very comfortable, something I found surprising because I normally have very dry eyes and have to wear Acuvue Oasys.

The colors are vibrant and beautiful but the lenses don't seem to last very long before they start hurting your eye and need to get new ones. After about 1 1/2 weeks they start to hurt and turn my eye very red. I wish they would last longer because they are beautiful and I LOVE the colors!! I get the green and aqua.

The aqua are a beautiful color and I get lots of compliments but after a week or so they tend to irritate my eye. The product should last longer before any irritation should occur.

i have dark brown eyes and these look really good on me and hides the whole color, i usually wear it when i go out and stuff , plus purple is my favorite color :P I would love to get them again

If what you are looking for is to look like a vampire then these are the lenses for you. I am not the person who expects color lenses to look totally natural. I am covered in tattoos and piercings and enjoy things that are far from normal, but even I think these look totally ridiculous.
True color elite makes a much less expensive product that is more comfortable and gives you some flare without making people think the zombie apocalypse has started.

I purchased the purple and the green in these lenses. The purple was way darker than it looked on the screen (and I have very light eyes). Although, the purple looks ok to wear on a daily basis. The green on the other hand looks ridiculous. The color looks fake, the contact looks fake, they might as well be Halloween eyes. I don't see myself ever wearing the green unless I want to really stand out one night. I think their are way better products out there that are actually cheaper than these and a better quality. For example, VENUS is good for light/dark eyes, and any FRESHLOOK is great for light eyes. Don't waste your money!

There are some complaints that they don't look "natural" or they are "unrealistic". Seriously?? Do you really purchase contacts in eye colors that not one person has EVER been born with and expect them to look "natural"? I own the aqua and the purple and love them both. Every time I wear them I get compliments. They are bold and beautiful without being obnoxious. The purple is not quite as bold as the aqua, and thus fewer people are taken aback when they see your eyes the first time. The only drawback is that these (as with any painted conacts) will dry your eyes out quicker than traditional disposables. Just carry eyedrops in your purse - no big deal. They are thicker than traditional disposables so they will take a few minutes to get used to, but I wouldn't call them uncomfortable by any stretch.
My only true complaint is they only come in an 8.6 base curve. My daily contact prescription is for an 8.3 BC. I would like to get them in my normal curve so they don't wiggle on my eye occasionally.

Only problem I've had in last 2 years is receiving 2 defective lenses on 2 occasion. I was able to exchange them which is great bur a bummer to have to wait a bit longer to wear them....
