Apsheric contact lenses are made to help focus the light coming in to the eye to a common focal point on the back of the eye. This is different from the way typical contact lenses are made, which focuses the light in a general area. Aspheric lenses like the Frequency 55 Aspheric Contact provide very clear and precise vision because of the way the light is focused. They also provide better image resolution and depth of focus, especially in low light and can help reduce halos and glare while driving at night. The Frequency 55 contact lenses can be worn as either daily lenses, or as extended wear lenses (though they should be removed, cleaned and disinfected at least once every seven days). Ultimately, the amount of wear will be determined between you and your eye care provider.
