Good contacts

I have medium brown eyes and I have used just about every color of colorblends contacts. The amethyst actually looks quite natural for a purple toned contact but its not very noticeable on my brown eyes unless you get up close. The green is a great blend for brown eyes and looks natural and noticeable. The brilliant blue completely covers my brown eyes and when I've worn them, many people were shocked to find out that my eyes are naturally brown. They definitly stand out the most of all the colors. I also love the honey colored contacts, although its not a natural look and i would only recommend them to people with natural brown eyes. I have a bad habit of sleeping in my contacts and Ive done so many times in these contacts without much issue or irritation. This is the only brand of colored contacts I completely trust for my sensitive, brown eyes and I cant wait for them to come out with more colors.

notable decline in quality

I have worn Fresh Look colors for many years. They are the only colored lenses that work for me because unlike every single other manufacturer of colored lens they have a larger diameter of 14.5 instead of the standard 14.0. I have a wider iris so with all other leneses the outer rim of my iris & own real color of my eyes shows around the outside edge of the color lens making it look strange & very obvious I'm wearing colored lenses. I wish I had other choices because there has been a HUGE decline in these lenses in terms of quality over the past few years. For many years I could wear them up to 3 weeks or more before they began to wear out,tear or give me tired eyes. (yes, I know it's not recommended but it's economical & never caused a problem) However, more recently they've very quickly started to wear away around the outer rim, noticable when you hold them up to the light after your eye starts to get irritated from the non-smooth edge. This has happened most recently after only 3 days of wearing them--totally unacceptable! I would love to switch to a different brand of color lens but with my wider irises unfortunately this is my only choice.

I tried on these contacts and couldn't wear them because they were blurry on the sides. I bought 4 boxes because I have never had this problem before with other contacts but this was a new brand of color contacts.
