I have sensitive eyes and moderate to severe dry eye. These lenses were recommended to me by my optometrist, and they are some of the best for allowing oxygen to the eye so that it is not too red or dry. I seem to find a bad contact every box or two--one that seems to have a flaw in the lens that feels like a piece of dirt chronically and I have to throw out the contact, but the majority of the time they're good quality and are comfortable for longer wear. I started with permanent ones, they were so uncomfortable I had to replace them every 6 months (instead of every 12 months). I then switched to Acuvue and Acuvue 2, they were OK but I felt I needed more moisture. 5 years ago I came across O2 Optix and have not looked back. I can wear these lenses all day long. I do carry lubricating + rewetting drops just in case, though. Overall, I will buy these brand until Ciba Vision stops making them! Pros

They are extremely comfortable, I am able to wear them for about 16 hours a day without needing lubricating drops. If you wear them for more than eight or nine hours a day, you should probably invest in a stronger cleaning solution to get rid of the protein deposits. Pros
