So here's my story of why it had been SO hard for me to find a pair of contact lenses that feels comfortable, and why Proclear is so great.
I wore toric contact lenses back in the 90's when only yearly lenses were available. I was a careless kid and slept in them here and there which lead to some corneal abrasions. Even though it healed without issues, I developed dry eyes that are especially sensitive to contact lens. That incident basically prevented me from wearing contact lens for the next 15 years due to severe pain that occurred within seconds to minutes of trying on the lenses. My eyes would become ultra dry to the point where I couldn't even keep my eyes open. I went back to the optometrist every few years in hopes of being able to wear contacts again. 3 years ago, I was finally able to tolerate lenses in my eyes. After trying on many different pairs, I ended up with Acuvue Oasys because that's the only one I could wear for a few hours. I was able to wear them for 2~6 hrs a day, and then they'd get very very dry and feel very uncomfortable, even with lots of eye drops use.
And so I decided maybe my eyes can use something new. This time around I tried proclear, biofinity, air optix, and avaira. Proclear was by far the most comfortable one of them all and it stayed moist for much longer compared to others. Other ones, esp Acuvue Oasys, would feel so dry by the time I took them out, it felt like I was peeling off plastic wraps off my eyes. And I'm talking about only after 4~6hrs. But Proclear! I can wear them for 10 hrs and have very little discomfort, don't need to use eye drops that much, and just overall a great feel.
So yeah. Proclear is great if you have dry eyes.
It's a lot more expensive compared to other types of lenses, but this website has the best prices. $50-60/box other places charge is crazy, but this website makes it so much more affordable, so thank you!
I read other people complaining about the lens tearing easily but I've had no problems even though I clean/rub my lens diligently.
And DO take care of your eyes. Don't sleep or even nap w/ contacts on. You never know how your eyes will change once you mess them up. Believe me, as a young female adult, being stuck with glasses 24/7 or skipping glasses and not being able to see anything around me was MORE than just annoying.

People who have astigmatisms can sometimes find it to be a challenge when looking for a comfortable and quality pair of contact lenses. In fact, many people with this condition once thought that contacts were not an option for them, or that other lenses designed for those with astigmatisms are either uncomfortable, or do not adequately correct their vision. Proclear Toric lenses made by CooperVision, may be a good option if you have astigmatism (otherwise known as a non-symmetrical cornea). Proclear Toric contact lenses are designed to provide all day comfort and are made using CooperVision’s PC Technology that helps keep the eye moist, which in turn helps to prevent the eye from feeling tired. These toric lenses are monthly disposables; at the end of each wear cycle, simply toss out the old and open a new pack.
